Folium is a Highland Park studio designing, installing, and maintaining plants for homes throughout Chicago and the North Shore.
Plants and their vessels deserve the same thinking we give to art, to furniture. They have a story to tell, character to lend and feeling to evoke.
The right plant for the room.
One well-chosen specimen in the right vessel can do more for a space than a dozen plants scattered through it. We work piece by piece, room by room.

Not all plants are designed for Midwestern winters. We select specimens with the realities of this climate in mind—humidity, light, and how a home actually lives season to season.
About
Folium is founded by Adam Breseman.
Before Folium, Adam helped found and scale a luxury interior plant design studio in Los Angeles. There, he learned the beauty and patience in this work, and fell in love with the look on his clients' faces when they beheld a piece for the first time. He draws inspiration from his dad's love of plants and his mom's entrepreneurial spirit. He lives in Highland Park with his [wonderful] family.
